I had previous experience of Wado Ryu Karate and Wing Chun, both of which have their strong points and were enjoyable to train. I started training in Paul Vunak's JKD and RAT in 2022 when I was lucky enough to find Paul Starkey, full instructor under Sifu Vunak, living not far from me in Hull UK. I have since travelled to San Diego to train with Sifu Vunak and gain my Apprentice Instructor certificate. I continue to train with Paul Starkey at Team Vunak UK.
