Paul is an accomplished lifelong martial artist, elite combatives instructor, and action film actor with over three decades of dedicated training across multiple disciplines. Best known for his explosive screen presence and deep technical expertise, he seamlessly bridges the gap between authentic real-world combat and cinematic action.

Martial Arts Heritage & Credentials

Paul began his martial arts journey at the age of 12 at a local Tae Kwon Do school, eventually earning Black Belts in two distinct styles of Tae Kwon Do. Seeking a complete and realistic understanding of combat, he cross-trained extensively in Boxing and Kickboxing before diving deep into the grappling arts. He holds a prestigious Brown Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under the legendary Rickson Gracie Organization, representing one of the most respected lineages in ground fighting.

Jeet Kune Do & Progressive Fighting Systems

In the 1990s, Paul expanded his tactical expertise into Jeet Kune Do (JKD), training under the iconic Larry Hartsell at a seminar in NYC, from that point he was hooked so he then committed his focus to Sifu Paul Vunak’s Contemporary Jeet Kune Do and Progressive Fighting Systems (PFS) Training obsessively and later earning his full instructorship in Norfolk, Virginia, under Sifu Barry Jenkins.

In 2023,Paul was awarded the highly coveted honor of Senior Instructor directly by Sifu Paul Vunak. He is also the proud curator of the world’s most complete Paul Vunak library, preserving every VHS tape, DVD, and book authored by or featuring the JKD pioneer.

Film Career & Media

As an actor and martial arts consultant, Paul brings raw, realistic choreography to the screen. He has starred in the action feature films Double Fist and Bound By Debt. He is currently developing several highly anticipated film and martial arts media projects for release this year. As we speak he is shooting a docuseries of his life titled INDOMTITABLE SPIRIT.
