PFS ( progressive fighting systems) has always assumed there was a weapon in a fight or an attack.
In all the fights I have been in maybe 5 an actual knife was presented. However, I have been in 100 fights that involved broken bottles.
My time in Virginia with SEAL Team 6, it was almost a nightly occurrence to hear bottles start breaking at the local biker bar.
